There has been a recent trend in low carbohydrate diets, and here at FreeDough we believe that this trend is here to stay. This is primarily due to reducing insulin resistance – a state where the body becomes resistant to insulin due to repetitive spikes of the hormone.
Secondly, low carbohydrate diets have shown repeatedly to help with weight loss when compared to the traditional approach of reducing fat intake. These studies also show that low carbohydrate diets improve cholesterol blood lipid markers such as reducing triglycerides and increasing high-density lipoproteins.

Each 60g slice of our bread contains 4.2g of digestible carbohydrates and will fit in with any low carbohydrate diet. This is significantly less carbohydrates than ordinary white bread!
